Over the past years, my wife and I have experienced the power of prayers. While doing the Camino di Santiago many of our patients sent us prayer requests to read along this 500-mile pilgrimage in northern Spain. On the Mercy Ship, we routinely pray for all of the patients before surgery. There have been many scientific studies that documented the power of group prayer.
